The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. Isaiah 9:2
We are here for one another and our community. This Christmas we will do a couple of simple but meaningful things to help us share Jesus in our Community. I’d like to invite you to participate as you are able.
Blue Cross Carols Service
Thursday 17th December @ 11 am
For about 45 minutes we will share the joy of Christmas through song with the residents and staff of Blue Cross Aged Care Residence in South Oakleigh.
Oakleigh Baptist Community Carols in the Evening
Sunday 20th December @ 6 pm
We will bring our music outside the front of the church (weather permitting) and invite our friends and community to join us for a time of singing and celebration. The time will be for about an hour, singing all our favourite carols, and maybe an item in there as well. Plan to come and invite your friends – the focus of this is sharing the joy of Christmas and reaching out with the Good News.
Christmas Day Service
Friday 25th December @ 9 am
A short service of reflection and celebration as we mark the day that the world remembers the birth of our Saviour.
Please Register for each service: https://oakleighbaptist.org/event-calendar/
